Shikaripur receives 4 cm rainfall

Bangalore, Feb 17: Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka&North Interior Karnataka.

Shikaripur recorded 4 cm of rainfall.

Minimum temperatures appreciably fell at a few places over Interior Karnataka and fell at a few places over Coastal Karnataka They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka&South Interior Karnataka.

Chintamani recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14.8 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Mainly dry weather will prevail over the State.
