Respite for citizens as mercury rises to 10.8 degrees Celsius
Patna, Feb 17 (UNI) People in the city and its adjoining areas today woke up to a comparatively warm morning with the mercury rising to 10.8 degrees Celsius, providing much needed respite from the severe chill.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius.
The Met office forecast a further rise in the minimum temperature in the coming days.
The maximum temperature had also been registering an upward trend with the mercury settling at 24.8 degrees Celsius this afternoon.
The relative humidity remained high at 76 per cent this morning, the Met office informed.
Moreover, Met officials predicted clear sky with the possibility of mist in the morning.
