Rain, snow likely in Uttarankhand, Himachal Pradesh, J

Pune, Feb 17 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarankhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, south coastal Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Orissa, Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Jharkhand.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Chattisgarh, interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Jharkhand. They were below normal in Arunachal Pradesh, some parts of south Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and south Kerala.

They were appreciably above normal in northwest Rajasthan, some parts of Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and north Kerala and were above normal in some parts of Uttarankhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
