Pregnant woman, two children died in two different mishaps
Kolhapur, Feb 17: An eight months pregnant woman and two children of sugarcane industry labourer died and one person was seriously injured in two different mishaps, here.
In the first mishap, two children identified as Ajay (four), Vijay (three) were burnt alive and their father Gajendra Mahadev Patange (35) sustained serious injuries, when their hut at Harlee village caught fire, police said today.
In another incident, a pregnant woman Alaka Ananda Budhawale (26) from Umargaon village of Sangli District was crushed to death under a tractor while saving her four-year-old son Vivek.
