Over 130 ultras including foreigners operating in Reasi
Jammu, Feb 17 (UNI) Over 130 militants including forty foreigners are operating in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and its adjoining parts.
This was disclosed by Deputy General Officer, Commanding Uniform Force CIF (U) Brigadier KSS Guleria during an interaction with mediapersons after flagging off recruitment rally at Reasi.
''Around 40 foreign militants representing different outfits are active in Reasi district and its adjoining parts,'' Brigadier Gularia said, adding that militants are adopting various methods to misguide and allure youths to adapt the path of violence.
''Continuous efforts of the Army and civil administration has tried its best to educate and aware youths. They are shedding the path of violence and joining services in the belt force and the army,'' he said.
He claimed that presence of 20,000 youth in the recruitment rally has proved that they don't want to adapt the violence but to serve the nation.
