Macca snubs Ozzy duet at 2008 Brit Awards

Washington, Feb 17 : Rocker Ozzy Osbourne was left shattered when Sir Paul McCartney declined to duet with him at the 2008 Brit Awards.

Osbourne, who is co-hosting the ceremony with his wife/manager Sharon, was very ecstatic at the chance of having his lifelong dream of doing a stage show with the former Beatle come true.

But McCartney, who had other views about combining his talent with Ozzy's, has instead decided to perform a simple solo. "You can either go for something wow or just do a couple of hits - I've opted for the latter," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"I'm quite happy to be just doing stuff that I hope the audience will like.

"This year will be outstanding - because Ozzy is presenting," he added.

The annual awards ceremony will take place in London on 20 February (08).
