Include Traders Assn in unorganised labour sector

Puducherry, Feb 17: The Sunday Bazaar Traders Association today urged the territorial administration to include them in the unorganised sector labourers association.

A resolution to this effect was adopted at an office-bearers meeting of the traders here.

Another resolution urged the administration to take steps to grant them bank loans on individual guarantee.

Resolutions urging the administration to impose a fine on regular traders, who open their shops on Sundays and to announce the Sunday bazaar area as a vehicle free zone from 1600 hrs on Sundays were adopted in the meeting.
