Hardcore criminal from Malda arrested
Gangtok, Feb 17 (UNI) Police has arrested a hardcore criminal, from Malda in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district, from Namchi in South Sikkim yesterday.
Sarul Biswas was arrested by a joint operation of Sikkim and West Bengal police.
Biswas, wanted in connection with several murder cases and bus robberies in West Bengal, was at large since couple of months.
There were also several cases against the arrested pending in the Malda court.
Police said Biswas was arrested from a construction site at Namchi, where he was working as a labourer.
He has been taken back to Malda by West Bengal police.
