Couple murdered and set ablaze, no robbery reported

Mumbai, Feb 17: A couple was found murdered at their residence in Santacruz of western suburbs here, policer said today.

The senior citizens were residing at Garden Crest building with their, servant Sandeep. On February 14, at around 2000 hrs the couple had last spoken to their son Niral Dilip Saderi (37).

Yesterday, Mr Niral found them murdered with a sharp weapon and 100 per cent burnt when he had come to meet them, the police said.

Sandeep who was working at the couple's residence since 13 years, is absconding.

However, all valuables were intact in the house the, police added.
