Britney's estranged manager Sam Lutfi being investigated

Washington, Feb 17 : Britney Spears' estranged manager Sam Lutfi is being investigated by the Los Angeles police after the singer's parents accused him of drugging the star.

According to fallen pop princess' mom Lynne, Lufti had confessed of drugging the 'Toxic' singer, reports Contactmusic.

The allegations against him are being investigated by the Major Crimes Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Michael Sands, who is the newly appointed spokesman for Lufti, said that he is aware of the investigation.

Lutfi was earlier served a restraining order, with instructions to keep his distance from the Spears family.
