8 Gurgaon dispensaries given to private sector
Gurgaon, Feb 17 (UNI) Eight dispensaries here have been given to Private Corporate Houses organisations on public-private-partnership (PPP) model by the District Family And Health Welfare Society.
This will enable these corporate houses and organizations to discharge their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), an official spokesman said here today.
These dispensaries of the Health Department were lying vacant since their construction he said.
Chairman of the District Family and Health Welfare Society, Rakesh Gupta decided to give other eight abandoned dispensaries to corporate houses after the experiment with Seagram, which was given charge of a vacant dispensary in sector 45 a year ago, was found encouraging.
The spokesman said that Global Cancer Concern India, DLF Pvt. Ltd National Thalasemia Welfare Society, Ch. Vedram Charitable Trust, Chikitsa Society, Genpact Pvt. Ltd were entrusted with the task of providing health services to all sections of society.
