4 drown in Malampuzha dam

Palakkad, Feb 17 (UNI) Four people, including a ten-year-old boy, drowned at Malampuzha dam here today.

Police said the deceased were Dr Noor (50) and Aslam (25), both hailing from Bangalore, and Abdul Haque Salim (35) and Noor Mohammad Younus (10), hailing from Coimbatore.

The mishap occurred when the other three tried to rescue the boy, who drowned in the river while taking bath.
