3 killed, 2 injured as car hits tree

Karim Nagar, Feb 17 (UNI) Three people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured when the car in which they were travelling hit a tree near Gagillapuram here today.

Police said the car was on its way to Madhapur of Adilabad district from Hyderabad when the mishap occurred. The driver lost control and hit a tree, killing three persons on the spot.

The injured women were rushed to nearby hospital.

The victims were returning to their village after attending a marriage function in Hyderabad.
