200 Model Sanskriti Schools to be opened in Haryana

Chandigarh, Feb 17 (UNI) To impart quality education to the students, Haryana Government has decided to open 200 Model Sanskriti Schools equipped with modern educational facilities in the state during the next financial year.

An official spokesman said that 10 Model Sanskriti Schools would be opened in district Sirsa out of which two in sub-division Dabwali, two each at Kalanwali, Rania, Ellenhabad and Sirsa.

Besides, one Government Girls Senior Secondary School in each town would be upgraded as Model Sanskriti School.

He informed that the State Government would soon spend Rs five crore for providing necessary infrastructure and modern facilities in these schools. For promoting sports and cultural activities in each school, an amount of Rs 50,000 each would be provided for sports equipments.

He informed that modern library, indoor and outdoor sports stadium, sports kits and modern equipments for science laboratory would also be provided in these schools. In all these schools, education will be imparted through english medium, he added.
