2 students killed in accident
Kancheepuram, Feb 17 (UNI) Two final year Post-Graduate students were killed when the two-wheeler in which they were travelling hit a road side tree near Uthiramerur in this district of Tamil Nadu today.
Police said the deceased were idenified as Raghu (22), hailing from Chennai, and his friend Dharani (22) from Salem.
Both of them were MSc students of Alpha College at suburban Porur.
The duo had gone on a sight-seeing to Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary and were returning to Chennai after visiting a temple when the mishap occurred.
