National Security Advisor to visit Nagaland

Kohima, Feb 16 (UNI) National Security Advisor M K Narayanan will arrive here today on a two-day visit to Nagaland to monitor the March 5 poll preparations.

Official sources here said Mr Narayanan will first meet Governor K Sankaranarayanan, who is currently the head of the state after imposition of President's Rule.

He would also meet the state Chief Secretary and Director General of Police.

Mr Narayanan is also likely to meet top Army officers in the state tomorrow before leaving for New Delhi, sources said.
