MP experiences relief from cold

Bhopal, Feb 16 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh denizens experienced quite relief from cold wave conditions with night and day temperatures rising at most places including the state capital.

The Regional Met Department attributed to the change in temperature to weakening of the effect of northern winds.

Rewa, Mandala and Naugaon were the state's coldest recording 5 degree Celsius. Most places recorded a low of 7-12 C and a high of 28-30 C.

The state capital registered maximum of 31.4 C, two notches above normal. However, a low of 11.2 C, two marks below normal, was recorded.
