Modernise Anglo-French Mill- Textile Unions
Puducherry, Feb 16 (UNI) Textile trade unions today urged Chief Minister N Rangasamy to take immediate steps to modernise the government owned Anglo-French textile mills here to make it a viable unit.
In a memorandum submitted to Chief Minister by union leaders led by Mr Abishegam of AITUC, they urged Mr Rangasamy to seek Rs 300 crore from the Central Textile Fund to modernise the mill.
