DP Inspector suspended in kidney racket bribery case
New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) A day after an ASI of the Delhi Police was arrested in connection with the kidney racket bribery case, an Inspector of the Special Staff was also suspended.
A senior police official said Inspector Rameshwar Khatri was suspended yesterday night after prima facie his involvement was found in the case.
A departmental enquiry against Khatri would also be initiated, he said.
The officer also said that more than four teams were working on the case to arrest the six others of the department who were absconding.
Police had yesterday arrested ASI Ravinder Kumar Singh of the Special Staff under Section 342, 384, 389 and 120-B of the IPC.
