DK asks Centre to implement Sethu sans delay
Chennai, Feb 16 (UNI) Members of the Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) today staged a demonstration urging the Centre to take steps for implementing the Sethusamudram Shipping Channel Project (SSCP) at the earliest.
More than 150 DK workers participated in the agitation held before the Memorial Hall here.
The agitation was led by DK President K Veeramani. He urged the Congress-led Government at the Centre not to buckle under the pressure from parties like AIADMK and the BJP and take steps to complete the project.
