Jemima Khan interviews Musharraf

Islamabad, Feb 16: Jemima Khan, the ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan, called on President Pervez Musharraf on Friday. As per media reports by the Daily Times, Jemima Khan met Musharraf as a correspondent of The Independent and interviewed him about the February 18 election in Pakistan. She was accompanied by other colleagues of the newspaper. President Musharraf assured her that all arrangements were in place for free, fair and transparent elections.

Jemima arrived in Islamabad along with their two children on Feb 12. According to the media sources, Jemima arrived by British Airways and was received by Imran Khan at the airport. Both avoided any talk with reporters. Media reported that Jemima is visiting Pakistan to monitor the upcoming general elections, and also to inquire about the health of Imran's father. Imran and Jemima left the airport in separate vehicles.
