Chain snatching gang held
Hyderabad, Feb 16 (UNI) The city police today arrested a six-member gang involved in more than 100 cases of chain snatching in and around the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Police said special teams nabbed the gang when it was trying to commit dacoity under Nallakunta Police Station Limits. Around Rs 22 lakh worth gold chains was recovered.
The gang members were identified as K Hari Prasad, Shaik Mahaboob Ali, M Raja Rajesh, S Venkanna, P Tirupathi and M Rajesh Naik.
They confessed to have committed the dacoities. Three two-wheelers were also seized from their possession.
