BJP condemns naxal attacks in Nayagarh
New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) Strongly condemning the naxal attack in Nayagarhgarh of Orissa, which killed at least 13 people, the BJP today blamed the Congress for destroying the process to check naxal violence.
The party spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said when the Naxals proclaimed to carve out a corridor between Pashupati Nath to Tirupati, the Congress-led UPA government pedalled wrong policies.
The Congress government in Andhra Pradesh declared ceasefire with naxals allowing them to regroup and mount attacks in neighbouring Orissa and Chhattisgarh states, he said.
The BJP also held an informal meeting at the residence of Leader of Opposition L K Advani here to take stock of the political situation in the country. Those who attended the meeting included Arun Jaitley, former Delhi Lt Governor Vijay Kapur.
