BPOs seek concessions, sops in the upcoming budget

Hyderabad, Feb 14, 2008 : The Indian Business Process Outsourcing or BPO sector seeks an extension in tax holiday from the Indian finance minister P. Chidambaram in the annual general budget to be announced later this month.

According to trade experts, creaky infrastructure due to lack of funds in smaller towns and rapidly rising wages are a few major challenges faced by the sector.
