Liam Gallagher ties the knot for the second time

London, Feb 15 : Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher tied the knot with singer fiancee Nicole Appleton on Valentine's Day, it has been confirmed.

The wedding ceremony had taken place at London's Westminster Register Office, the same place where Gallagher wed his first wife, actress Patsy Kensit, in 1997.

Nicole's bandmate sister Natalie attended the ceremony along with Prodigy hubby Liam Howlett.

The newlywed couple's six-year-old son Gene was there along with Lennon, 8 - Liam's son with Patsy.

Nicole's sister Mel and Liam's mum Peggy were the witnesses.

"They felt like they were married anyway. He's worn a ring on his wedding finger for years to show his commitment. But he decided it was the right time," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

A source at the venue said: "The wedding was completely hush-hush."

An Oasis spokesman confirmed the nuptials.
