Group of ministers on BC Welfare submits recommendations to CM
Hyderabad, Feb 15 (UNI) The Group of Ministers'- Committee on Backward Classes Welfare submitted their recommendations to Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the Secretariat here today.
According to an official release, Dr Reddy, who reviewed the recommendations, said he would consult other ministers and the Finance department before accepting and implementing them. The government would also make financial allocation as necessary.
The Group of Ministers consulted different BC Welfare Associations, MLAs, Ministers and other leaders to prepare the recommendations.
They studied issues like separate Federations for most prominent BC Groups and Most Backward Classes (MBC), Scholarships, fees reimbursement and hostel charges.
