DMRC officials inspect alignments
Kochi, Feb 15 (UNI) A team of officials from Delhi Metro Rail corporation (DMRC) today inspected the alignments for the proposed Kochi Metro Rail project along the 25-KM stretch between Aluva and Tripunithura.
The visiting team led by Chief Project Manager Kumar Kesav and Executive Engineer B C Koshy also held discussions with revenue officials and district administration, Ernakulam District Collector Mohammed Hanish told reporters here.
He said there would be no change from the original alignments and the administration would shortly start acquiring land to the tune of 41 acres in seven villages for the project.
'' The revenue department had inspected the land to be acquired and acquisition of land in the stretch will be completed in seven months,'' he said.
