The residents must exercise such a caution till the time a Planning Authority has been established to oversee the implementation of the redevelopment project, Mr Deshmukh told a delegation led by South Mumbai Lok Sabha member Milind Deora which called upon him today.

The monitoring agency will not only oversee the project but protect residents of the area from coercion and enticements from developers, and instill confidence, the delegation told the Chief Minister.
