Vipul Ltd to invest Rs 600 cr in Punjab, will build township, hote

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Real estate developer Vipul Ltd today said it plans to invest Rs 600 crore in township and hospitality projects in Punjab.

The flagship company of Vipul Group will invest Rs 400 crores in a housing project 'Vipul World' to be built on 109 acres of land on Ferozepur road, Ludhiana followed by construction of three hotels at Mohali, Ludhiana and Amritsar, to be developed with an approximate investment of Rs 250 crores, a company statment said.

The township will comprise of plots, lifestyle villas, premium apartments, high end commercial complex, fully equipped convenience shopping arcade, club house and a five star hotel.

These projects will be ready by 2010, the statement added.

Vipul Ltd will also be foraying into the hospitality sector in collaboration with Sarovar Hotels and Resorts for building four star hotels in the key cities like Mohali, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Siliguri, Bhuwaneswar etc.
