Vidyarthi Sena activists protest against Valentine day

Pune, Feb 14 (UNI) Protesting against the Valentine day celebrations in the city, Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena activists today demonstrated outside Fergusson, Wadia and SP colleges here.

A few of the activists, who were shouting slogans outside the colleges, were taken into custody but released immediately, police said.

The activists tore Valentine day cards and decorations in few shops at Karve Road and Deccan area of the city. Many of the flower vendors had no buyers for their roses and the sales were hit.
