Shiv Sena's opposition to Valentine's Day to continue
Mumbai, Feb 14 (UNI) Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray today said that the party's opposition to Valentine's Day will continue as it has ''nothing to do with Indian culture.'' In a news article carried in Shiv Sena's mouth piece 'Saamna', while commenting about the day, Mr Thackeray sought to know what Valentine's Day was and what did it have to do with Indian traditions.'' Only those who are not patriotic and has a lot of parents' money to spend will celebrate the day, and 'Sainiks' will continue to oppose the foreign culture, he said through the article.
With such celebrations, the businesses in the malls go up for a few days as generation next is adopting foreign culture but the party's stand on the day remains unchanged.
