Raj Thackeray declines to meet Batuk Nath

Mumbai, Feb 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray today declined to meet former college professor Batuk Nath, who had come from Bihar along with his girl friend Julie, to meet him.

Mr Nath was suspended from his teaching post after his affair with his 24-year-old student Julie, came to light.

Mr Nath had come here to meet Mr Thackeray on the occasion of 'Valentine's Day'.

Mr Nath and Julie went to Mr Thackeray's residence at around 1600 hrs holding a red rose, to present to the later. But, MNS spokesperson Shirish Parkar stopped them at the gate saying that Mr Thackeray did not want to meet them.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Nath said, ''I have high regards for Mr Thackeray and that is why I came down to the city to meet him and present him with a red rose.'' UNI ST SR MS BD1930
