One labour died when mud caved in

Bangalore Feb 14 (UNI) A labour was killed and two others injured when mud caved in while working for putting a pillar for a multi-storied office complex in the city today.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) B K Singh said the mishap occurred when a 40-feet deep pit was being dug for putting up the pillars even a mound of mud fell on them.

The injured had been admitted to a hospital. A case was registered against the owner and the contractor of the building.
