HP Budget session from March four
Shimla, Feb 14 (UNI) The Budget session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly will begin here on March four with Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal presenting the Budget on March seven.
A notification to this effect was issued by state Governor V S Kokje here today.
The session, which begins on March four, would end on April 11 with a nine-day recess from March 15 to 23 during which standing committees of the department would scrutnize the demand for grants.
In all, there would be 23 sittings from March four to April 11 during the session.
The Budget session would begin with the Governor's address on March four.
Three days have been earmarked for Private Members Business and apart from passing supplementary Budget for 2007-08, the House would also deliberate on important legislative business during the session.
