Haryana reduces minimum pay criteria for computer advance
Chandigarh, Feb 14 (UNI) The Haryana Government has liberalised the admissibility condition for the personal computer advance to the state government's employees, by reducing the minimum pay criteria from Rs 9,000 per month to Rs 4,500 per month.
While stating this here today, Finance Minister Birender Singh said with this revised admissibility condition, more employees could avail the computer advance facility.
Now, the government employees drawing pay of Rs 4,500 per month and above including dearness pay, special pay and non practising allowance would be eligible for the computer advance.
As per the limit of advance, Rs 30,000 or the actual price of the computer which ever was less would be admissible, which would be recoverable in not more than 75 equal monthly installments, he said, adding that, however, it had to be ensured that computer advances were not used other than the purchase of computer or lap-top.
The revised limit of the advance would be applicable to those employees whose application for this advance might be pending for sanction on February 12, 2008. The cases already decided or sanctioned would not be reopened, he added.
