Five SC/ST students injured in clash
Chennai, Feb 14 (UNI) Five inmates of a government hostel for SC/ST students were injured in a clash between two groups of students at the hostel premises in the city last night and police have arrested five people in this connection.
Long-standing rivalry between the two groups was said to be the reason for the attack, during which the hostel library was also ransacked, police said.
All the arrested were remanded in judicial custody.
The injured were admitted to a government hospital.
