First 'Value' home making retail concept launched

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 14 (UNI) Home Bazaar, a new retail format in home segment has been launched by the Home Solutions of Big Bazaar.

CEO of the Home Solutions Retail (I) Ltd Hemchandra Zaveri who launched the format here today said, while owning a home, consumers have to visit multiple stores and markets. Home Bazaar will address the consumer demands by providing a single point destination for all their needs to build, equip and decorate their homes. ''Consumers will also get professional advice on various aspects, ranging from interiors, carpentry, plumbing, painting for their home,'' he added.

Each Home Bazaar store would ideally be spread over an area of 35,000 sq ft and will cater to the specific needs of the customers along with 'Value Benefits'. ''Home Solution Retail plans to take this model to other parts of the country, mainly in the B and C category,'' CEO of Home Town Mr Mahesh Shah said.

Home Bazar is the satellite version of its national home making and improvement retail brand ''Home Town''.

Home Bazaar displays various room settings such as living room, dining room, bedroom, kid's room, kitchen and bathroom.

Customers will get to select from a range of products like sofa sets, dining tables, beds, kids furniture, kitchen fittings, bathroom fittings, furnishing, mattresses, paints, tiles, electric fittings, decor lighting, plywood etc. Home Bazaar will also have a services section catering to specialised services like plumbing, electrician, painter, carpentry etc, the CEO further informed.
