Deccan to launch new service between T'palli-B'lore

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 14: Low cost carrier Deccan Airways will launch a new service between Tiruchirapalli and Bangalore from March 30. Officiating CEO of the company Ramki Sundaram, in a press release here today, said the new flights, morning and evening, will be operated with an ATR aircraft to serve the route connecting the Temple city with the IT city.

''We have consistently focussed on increasing connectivity between major metros and the fast developing Tier- II cities across the country. Given the rising demand for Deccan's services between Bangalore and Tiruchirapalli, our new morning and evening flights will facilitate connectivity,'' he added.
He said the flight will leave Bangalore at 0615 hrs and reach here 0730 hrs. In its return direction, the flight will leave here 0800 hrs and reach Bangalore at 0915 hrs.

The second flight will leave Bangalore at 1930 hrs and reach here at 2045 hrs. In its return journey, the flight will leave Tiruchirapalli at 2130 hrs and arrive Bangalore at 2230 hrs, he added.
