Deccan announces direct Kochi-Mangalore connection
Kochi, Feb 14 (UNI) Air Deccan today announced a new direct daily flight between Kochi and Mangalore from March 30.
In a press release here, Deccan's officiating CEO Ramki Sundaram said an Airbus A320 will be deployed to service the route, bookings for which have been opened.
Describing both Kochi and Mangalore as upcoming commercial cities, Mr Sundaram said the air connectivity would enhance their business and tourist attractiveness.
Deccan alrady connects Kochi to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Trivandrum.
The fares for the 45-minute Kochi-Mangalore flight will start from Rs 500 with taxes and surcharge extra.
