Damaged bomb shells recovered by police

Fatehgarh Sahib, Feb 14 (UNI) The police today recovered damaged bomb shells from two sites in Ladpur village in the district, police sources here said.

According to the police the shell were noticed by the village residents and the matter was reported to the police. The shells were probably abandoned by a scrap dealer after finding that the shells were stuffed with explosive material.

The police took the shells into custody and have begun investigations.
