CCCL's locomotive overhauled by Loco Works

Chennai, Feb 14 (UNI) Loco Works, a workshop of Southern Railway, has overhauled a WDS4D diesel shunting locomotive belonging to Chettinad Cement Corporation Limited(CCCL).

According to a railway release here today, it was for the first time that the workshop has undertaken overhauling of a private sector locomotive, fetching Indian Railways a revenue of about Rs 34 lakh.

Apart from the regular maintenance works, a major modification had been carried out in the locomotive, the release added.
