Visakhapatnam, Feb 14: Visitors were thrilled after having a glimpse of the exhibits at 'Azadi Express,' an exhibition train commemorating the 150th anniversary of the First War of Independence and 60 years of independence, which arrived at the Visakhapatnam railway station, yesterday.

The Azadi Express, which started its journey on September 27 last year from New Delhi on the occasion of Shaheed Bhagat Singh's birth anniversary, was attracting large crowds, especially children here.

The train with 12 coaches would help the visitors visualise the glorious moments of Indian history like the first war of independence and several other freedom struggles, through a wide range of rare photographs and paintings.

The Indian Railways, in association with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was running the train throughout the country.
