Ashok Nigam appointed DDA Vice Chairman
New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Mr Ashok Kumar Nigam was today appointed the Vice Chairman of Delhi Development Authority.
Presently the MCD Commissioner, he takes over from Mr Dinesh Rai who was promoted as the Secretary in the Union Government last month.
The appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, an official statement said here today.
Nigam, a 1974 batch IAS officer was the Chief Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh, before he took over MCD Commissioner in November 2005.
