Air Marshal Chaudhry visits Air Force Highgrounds

Chandigarh, Feb 14 (UNI) On one-day inspection visit Air Marshal GS Chaudhry, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Training Command arrived at Air Force Station Highgrounds here today.

Air Marshal Chaudhry accompanied by his wife Ms Manjit Chaudhry, visited various sections of the training school which includes Mig 29 and MiG 27 training. He was briefed by Gp Capt RKS Shera, Station Commander Air Force Highgrounds about the training programmes being conducted at the Station as well as various innovations and training aids developed by the Technical Type Training School.

Lauding the achievements of the Station, Air Marshal Chaudhry urged the instructors to strive for excellence. During his discussions with trainees, he explained the importance of technical training for safe operations of fighter aircrafts.
