3 detained in former Exise Officer murder case

Agra, Feb 14 (UNI) Police today detained three people in connection with the murder of Central Exise Department retired assistant commissioner Chandrapal Singh in Shahganj area here.

Masked marauders had fatally attacked Singh (84) at his house in Meena Bazar late last night, police said today.

Later, the accused legged down the road with cash and jewellery worth several lakhs of rupees.

Meanwhile, three people were taken into custody and being interrogated.
