Winehouse claims man she shared room with is gay

London, Feb 13 : English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse is trying to justify sharing a hotel room with artist Blake Wood, by claiming that he is gay.

The two of them have been spending a lot of time together, locked in a London hotel room, ever since she left rehab. Amy even told her family and friends that Wood is not into girls, a fact which some do not believe to be true.

The Rehab singer had met Blake through their common friend Kelly Osbourne, and the pair was spotted behaving like they were more than just pals on a night out in London nightclub Punk last year.

"She's said it's fine so share a hotel room because he is gay. But he doesn't seem gay to me - I think he's bisexual. Amy's husband wouldn't be happy if he saw how close they are," the Sun quoted a pal of hers as saying.

Wood had on Facebook described himself as being bisexual, but since he seems to be having a better influence over her than her jailed hubby Fielder-Civil, Amy's family don't mind him keeping her company.
