Two naxals killed in police encounter
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 13 (UNI) Two naxals were killed in an encounter with police at Gahaguda area in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
A police team had gone out on patrol when naxals attacked them at Lendra Hirapur road forcing police to retaliate. Naxals fled from the spot to nearby forests taking advantage of darkness.
Two bodies were recovered from near the spot this morning. A tiffin bomb, fuse wire and detonator were also found.
The deceased ultras were yet to be identified.
