Student's body found in train

Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu, Feb 13 (UNI) The Cuddalore-Tiruchirapalli passenger train was detained for about 20 minutes at the railway station here today after the body of a catering technology student was found.

Police said when the train reached the station, the co-passengers found the body of V Alagiri, son of MDMK State Publication Wing Secretary Vandiyathevan.

He had allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide, sources said.

Later, the body was sent to the government hospital for post-mortem, sources added.
