Rane calls on Patil; asks protection of common man's rights

Mumbai, Feb 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Revenue Minister Narayan Rane called on Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil at Mantralaya to know the latest development on the Raj Thackeray issue.

Rane after meeting Patil, who also holds the Home portfolio, told newspersons that he has asked the deputy chief minister to take care that the common man does not suffer.

''The common man should be able to go about earning his livelihood normally and without fear,'' he said. The meeting lasted around 30 minutes.
