President Patil to visit Bihar on Feb 15-16
New Delhi, Feb 13 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will visit Bihar on February 15 and 16 to attend a number of functions, including the first Inter-University Cultural Festival hosted by Magadh University at Bodh Gaya.
This will be her first visit to Bihar after assuming office at Rashtrapati Bhavan in July last year.
She will also address the festival at Magadh University on February 15, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson said today.
The President will launch the ''Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojna'' and inaugurate and address the International Conference on Hyperthermia. Both the events wil be in Patna.
She will also visit places of historical importance at Nalanda, Bodh Gaya and Vaishali, as well as Gurudwara Patna Sahib in Patna.
